How Can severe Calf Pain Be Treated?

I have some localized pain on the outside of my calf, just below the knee. It feels like a bruise but it s not really discolored, though I see what appears to be some faint discoloration. It only hurts when I press on the spot. Been this way for 3 or4days. No swelling or pain elsewhere, but still a little worried that it could be a blood clot. Should I be worried?

Hello,

As you said you are hypertensive how long have you been diagnosed with hypertension. What's you age and gender? These things need to know because if its continuing for years and it's uncontrolled, then anyone will be depressed as you are.

You took many different groups of anti-hypertensive but I think your blood pressure is not controlled. you need to make a blood pressure chart three readings per day and your pulse rate as well. Hypertension is treatable and even if it is resistant hypertension, which is not controlled with these drugs still there are treatment protocols for that. most importantly, we need to know is your high blood pressure is a primary disease or there is some underlying cause for which you need other evaluations.

Your other question is about depression.Depression can be due to long term illness and other environmental factors. Drugs help you to cheer to mood and get rid of depression but you need to add some activities in your daily life to make yourself busy so no negotiate thought enter into your brain. Otherwise SSRI inhibitors like Esctalopram is very good anti depressants which you can use with anti-hypertensive at the same time.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
